1939 Shelby Airflo Restoration Complete!

Ohio weather warmed up enough to break out my Shelby. I finished bringing her back to as original as possible last summer. Today, I put on some Royal Chain tires and she rides beautifully. Thank you @sm2501for the tires! One of the original grips was broken, so I found some repop grips from eBay to use. I picked up the 1943 Columbus license from fellow Caber @buck hughes. It is a nice tribute to my late father as it was his birth year.

I am extremely pleased with out it turned out after it was brought back to as original as possible. The last photo was the day I won her at an auction in Ada, Ohio.

It is stunning!! And just think, this was in my sister’s back yard. She lives in Ada. Nice to know these can be found in areas you’d never expect. Beautiful!
