What i know about the bike.Forks not original to bike.Kick stand not original but cool looking.Nice fenders and curved braces,rear fender has cut-out for lite.Real clean tank,small crease on left side that can be seem in picture.Nice clean chain guard,sprocket has been rechromed.Seat post is not correct.NO RIMS,NO PEDALS.Skip chain needs master link.$600 Shipped Pay-Pal
I believe that frame was introduced in '36 but no Zep for '36. First year Zep ('37) built on that frame with locking fork. 1938 was completely different and '39 it changed again.

I was just talking about this very subject...Zep vs Not...no matter with this one. Parts bonanza! Snyder frame (My Fav) with the elusive paisley chain guard. Correct sprocket for a Hawthorne Not to sure about the remaining parts (still learning). But of course the tank - so hard to find. Not 100 percent but I think 1940 was the last year for these frames. I think it's supposed to have a trussrod and look lIke my a avtar photo. Someone (@Freaqman) please jump in and correct me as I'm no expert...I'm at the dangerous stage of my bike education lol!
