194? Schwinn autocycle deluxe???

I need some experts to help me what year this is. It was blue with red and white stripes. The guy thought he bought it in 49 but when I called him again he said it could of been 46 or 47. I hope someone can help me and tell me if it is a autocyle deluxe. It is a little rusty but the wheels and crank work fine!!!

WOW! pretty crusty:eek: very cool. you're going to need the serial number. if it is that early it should be under the bike on the bottom bracket and not on the rear drop out. they changed it somewhere in the early '50s. I had a 1950 which was on the bottom and a 1953 which was at the rear. hope this helps.

Sorry, I forgot to put the serial number on here.

I did try to clean up some of the rust tonight - I guess from what it looked like, it cleaned up okay!!
The serial number is on the bottom of the crank.
Still not sur ewhat I want to do with this one!

Looks like 1955 to me. I'd keep it like it is. kinda rat rod, or is that rat bike?

looks like may, 1955 if the fenders and tank were chrome then it is a panther,

Can anyone give me an idea of what to ask for the bike? I have way to many projects and there is no way I will ever get to this one.

You might want to take another look at that serial number. If it is located on the bottom of the crank hanger it is a 1951 or earlier.
