both say Model 184

ls#66 -Se Mod 302184
133235

ls#67- Se mod 304184
132950

so is this #302 of model 184 elgin built and the bikes are 2 numbers apart? and the six digit a Murrey of Ohio frame ID?

is all i know is your not seeing things there are 2 identical bikes #66 has a partial split in speedo bezel and a few teeth on drive sheared I dont know if they work correct as the star drive wheels are mounted disengaged when u turn the star wheel speedo needle moves

Very nice originals, I’d like to hear more of the 30 year known history. Good luck with the sale.

they were originally in San Diego in the early 90’s tgen showed up in Michigan and 10 years ago were back in Monterey where i found them boxed unopened in a old shed a few months ago...... hate to split them or strip them they have some rare tires cool license plates and speedos that are very tempting

Are these the "brothers bikes" that belonged to 2 brothers that went off to world war 2 and never returned? That is the story I heard 30 plus years ago....They should never e split up or worse ..parted out? That should be a crime ...
Yes these are the bros bikes known as saving private Elgin..... and I agree i just got them in a large collection from a collector who passed away ..... i love the bikes just no room and everyone seems to say who wants two of same bike? i get ridiculous offers but They were sold to where I got them from for more money.... if i sell them cheap someone will part them you watch ... the tire and rims are beautiful ..... if they were a set of more deluxe bikes the story would still be the same .... I am at a loss with what to do with them
