For your consideration is an original paint 1940 DX with great patina. I believe all parts are original although the the headlight...it should be a front loader and it looks like this one is a top loader but fits right in. The darts on the fenders are pretty much gone...you can see the outline of where they were...someone had prepped for touchups and sanded the area for paint but didn’t follow through. There is also a bit of a wrinkle at the back tip of the front fender (pictured below). There is paint loss and rust on the rack...still solid. Also some paint loss on the rims and pin stripes are all but gone. Tank is solid and EA horn intact (untested). The Admiral badge is really nice and the down tube Admiral decal is faint but hanging in there. There is a super cool small US Navy sticker on the tank...I left it alone as it just added to the character of the bike. Overall, this bike presents really well...it's a mean looking machine that rides smooth and gets lots of compliments. Check the pics for more details.
