1940 Huffman Airflyte on FB - Who Got It?

This turned up on FB Marketplace in Montana yesterday and was sold quickly. Anybody here get it?

They only wanted $200. I thought it was a scam, but when I got the response "Sorry, not available" ... well, I think it was legit! Somebody got a smoking good deal.

Great bike!

I think it’s actually a 1938/1939, by the curve of the down tube.
1940 got a more pronounced curved downtube.
Check the numbers on the back of the fork crown.
If the last digit is an 8 or a 9, that’ll tell you which one of those years it is.
If it’s a 0, then I stand corrected.
Let us know, what you find out.

Aren't these style truss rods a 1940-1 design though?

I’m agreeing with Marty. It has the early style tank. A ‘40 would have the bump tank.
