Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
This is a super nice "survivor" 1940s era Mesinger saddle for your Schwinn, Shelby, Dayton, Manton & Smith and a host of
others 1940s era balloon bikes. Saddle is original "patina" factory finish on all metal parts, pan, chassis, springs etc.
Clamp set is NOS original clamp never used and perfect matching 'patina' for the seat.
Top leather was dry and brittle so the entire top was stripped and new high density memory foam
pad added and "distressed" leather aged to "perfection" with factory logo embossed! The
perfect saddle for an original bicycle where a shiny restored saddle is a bit too much...
Or where you don't want to ride on the aged and brittle original leather of your original saddle...
and want the insurance policy of a fresh hide and padding on original unrestored pan and chassis.
Seat is a knock out for the the "OG" look.
