1941-42 Schwinn Cycle Truck in original condition and ready to ride or display, serial #I48142. Not an easy one to let go but I have three other basket bikes that I ride regularly and this one just sits. I could use it for display in my business, but I am hoping it will go to a rider. Please see photos, questions welcome. I have no issues with this bike but here is what I know….The rear hub has started to squeal on hard braking, the chainguard is wired on in the rear, the tires are rideable but show some minor cracking on the rear Carlisle, the front tire is a no name made in Taiwan but is in good condition, the saddle is hanging on by a thread and will probably survive another ½ dozen rides before completely separating from the pan, the basket looks ruff but overall nice & useable, the bike has some killer blackout parts throughout and nice original paint rims, downtube script and seat tube decal are very nice, pinstripes throughout. I never really gave the bike a good detail because of all those pinstripes. If you have been wanting an original CT, this would be the one. I will personally package the bike in two boxes and ship ASAP upon payment received. I prefer PayPal but will accept anything that is money in the bank, please inquire. I will quote $200/shipped for the two boxes, one for the bike and the other for the basket and small parts. If shipping is less than the $200 I will refund the money and if it is more I will eat it, which is probably what will happen. The $200 shipping will be added to the final bid price so please take that into account when bidding. I will spend 3+ hours packaging the bike to make sure it arrives as it should, and it will take you ½ that long to unpack. Pickup is always welcome! Thank you for looking!
