Finally riding a big boys bike
Hi, located eagle lake Mn , free shipping to the continental USA only, this is a nice original paint 1941 or 1942 Schwinn Cycle truck bicycle, rideable tires they are no name 26 x 2.125 rear and no name 20 x 2.125 front, this bike also comes with the original tires the rear is a Gillette Bear 26 x 2.125 the front is a Gillette extra heavy duty 20 x2.125 the rear would be a good rider tire the front would hold air for display but probably not a rider as the sidewall is missing a small spot of outer shell rubber, they are not pictured but are included in this listing, new departure blacked out rear hub, frame serial no. is I48142, we asked those that study Schwinn serial numbers and know a lot of tells by looking at the way the frame was constructed and its their belief this is a wartime 1941 or 1942 cycle truck , blacked out sprocket and crank, blacked out hubs, blacked out handlebars, Mesinger B - 60 seat, The basket may or may not be original... it doesn’t look exactly like ones we’ve seen online, It is 28 inches wide 20 inches deep (front to back) and 12 inches high, the bike is as found all we did was rinse the dust off and put air in the tires, the bike should clean up nicely with a good detail, overall pretty good bike, $2500.00 please ask questions if you need more info, free shipping but only to the USA, thanks for looking, M & M
