Living the Dream
Vintage Bob Ujszaszi Restored Perfection !
Available for pickup in SoCal, or actual shipping via BikeFlights

From Bob’s 2015 listing:

Fully restored 99% original parts build Schwinn straight bar 1941 bicycle.
Has all the right features for 41:

Non scripted brake levers
Prewar Glass 3" reflector
Prewar Straightbar tank (they're different)
1 year only 1941 profile Cross brace handle bars
Lobdell flat profile rims
B-1 leather Mesinger Deluxe saddle
Correct flat profile 41' fasteners on rack and guard mounts
non scripted Fender light lense

The only reproduction/new parts used were the innertubes, cables, correct new actual rivets for braces /battery tray, and tray itself.
Tires are extremely rare BF GOODRICH SILVERTOWN tires, not reproductions, NOS originals. NOS Henderson badge, not a
Hyperflightguy repro, Autocycle bend Deluxe Miller Kickstand, NOS prewar rack reflector and bucket, prewar Arnold Schwinn key for
cycle lock, 1941 DELTA 'outie' horn unit. All plating has been done as per factory, all new cad plating, nickel plating, and chrome as
factory specs. Single stage paint with correct application not as "hack" stencil sellers offer backwards on ebay (base color first, then ivory).
Bike is a very correct and extremely difficult build with the 'right' parts no guess work and reproduction items used as listed above, only as
last measure due to total unavailability of NOS usable tubes, light tray, cables. Bike was painted in an unusual "Apple" green color as Schwinn offered in the late 30s through 1941/2 and not to be seen again after the war, with Ivory and red pinstripes. Beautiful color and photos barely do this bicycle justice.

Apologize for the poor photos.
I am dropping the bike off this morning with Tom Clark in LA. He is removing the silly water slide decals, recently applied by the previous, and only owner (as can be seen in the photo helpfully provided by Tripple3).
When I drop it off, I will grab some better photos. It is a stunning bike in person. When Bob finished it, he delivered it directly to the previous, and only owner. It never left his possession, until yesterday. It has not been passed around, modified, collectorized, scratched, scuffed, etc. Untouched Bob Resto !
Better photos coming . .
