Wondering what style chainring this is on the 1941 crank arms? Deluxe?

Thanks. Wasn’t there a name for it? Like deluxe or special?

I think you could order that sprocket for any model you bought, not just deluxe models.

There might be a nick name for that ring like the Sweetheart 1' pitch ring but I don't think Schwinn had a name for it. Just a 52 tooth 1/2" pitch ring.

the nickname for this sprocket years ago was the 'spider'...started in 1935(flat version) both 1/2" and 1" pitch. yours is the 1940 dished version. also the 1930's Shelby used a 1" pitch version but without the additional holes near crank base.

Two versions I’ve seen on prewar Schwinn. I’m not sure what the transition year was. I’ve noticed that the first predates the one in the second picture. I want to say 1940-41.
