Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Pictures tell the story. 100% original and incredible condition New World War Time
26" Mens bicycles. More Black out than I've seen on any war time bicycle by Schwinn.
Even the Schwinn script glass fender reflector bezel is blacked out, as well as bars,
sprocket, hubs, bottom bracket, braces etc. etc. Beautiful original Wood block
Persons pedals.... The Lobdell saddle is stamped with a V for victory behind the logo.
Original Schwinn Whirlwind tires show some cracking but with new tubes should
inflate well enough for show. Paint is vibrant maroon and pinstripes are nearly
100% in tact. I would call this close to a 9 on a prewar 1-10 scale. Gorgeous
unmolested original condition survivor that obviously was well looked after.
Bought it as a keeper but ended up with another lightweight find at the Anne Arbor
Meet and only so much space for good stuff unfortunately.
This bicycle belongs in a WWII Museum or perhaps your row of awesome bikes?

400.00 plus 50.00 shipping anywhere lower 48 States.

Cool!
That would've made a nice addition to the Lyon Air/World War II museum down at John Wayne Airport.
They have one of the best collection of WWII era vehicles in the country.
Oh, well, a missed opportunity on that one.
