1941 Shelby built Hiawatha

1941 Shelby built Hiawatha. The bike has original paint but there are many bare spots and the paint has faded. Sale includes all that you see.
Original frame, fork(truss rods), tank, crankset, rear rack, chain guard, pedals, chain, handlebars, and rear wheel. The rear wheel was relaced to with a Bendix hub at some point. The chain is locked up and one pedal is missing its blocks. I can include the front wheel I got it with but it was not original and was missing a spoke.

Nice project and price. I thought they began using that headbadge in the post-war period---maybe some Shelby experts will weigh in. As I said, I think it's a good project and price regardless of the year. Good luck with the sale !

I got the bike from the original owner who said grandparents bought it for him as a kid. He said it was before WWII started.
