Here is a bike I just can’t tear apart. It is a 1944 Huffman wartime ladies bike sold by Hans Ohrt in LA as a civilian transportation bicycle. It is complete in tact. Historical bike that can be displayed among war time artifacts. Of course, if torn apart would bring more money but I want to keep it together.
Wald streamline neck is actually polished steel and not chromed due to wartime rationing, 1944 Ball end grips are great condition, wood pedals for war time rubber rationing, original US chain tread tires dated 1942 marked war tire, great Troxel seat, no Huffman badge per war time guidelines for civilIan transportation bicycles, fork dated 6 - 4 for June 1944, great black out parts, new departure hubs, sprocket, cranks, bars.
SOLD!!!
Paypal preferred.
