Just brought this home. So much patina it is bare metal in areas, but still extremely solid.
Hard to show, but the maroon paint is still present under the rack..in the shape of the rack. It is well aged.

MAKES A GOOD PROJECT OR WITH TLC A RIDER .
COULD BE A '46 WITH REPLACEMENT FOR THE ORIGINAL LOBDELL WHEELS.

Oh it's going to be a rider just how it is. The patina is perfect to me.
It has the tapered kickstand which is why 46' came to mind. Are you saying the wheels should be Lobdells?

I probably read that wrong, the Lobdells are old parts, but this should have drop centers, right?

That is a nice looking bike at a fair price. If I hadn't spent all my bike money already I may have been tempted to get it myself.

That is definitely a cool Streamliner! That paint fade on the fenders had me thinking for a minute, but the bare metal isn't all that shiny.

Those painted over chrome fenders are pretty odd. These are definitely just bare metal.
B64912 serial number.
I called this a 46' based on the kickstand..which I'm finding out is not 100%. The long time previous owner called it a 47'.

Yup, 46. Are you going to treat the paint and bare metal with something? After looking at your pictures quite a few times, I started to wonder if it had an OA bath at some recent point and it did something to the red paint colorant which probably consisted of Oxide Red.
