Nice complete 1946 Schwinn tapered kickstand. This is for a 26" inch lightweight bike. It's different than the balloon tire unit see details below.

Is the angle of the bend different between the lightweight and balloon bikes?

Update:

After some checking I am going to say this stand is lightweight model specific.

Bikes and frames compared are the og lightweight frame and a stand in '46/'47 Straight bar balloon. Second kickstand is standard issue postwar ballooner.

Notes:

Lightweight receiver tube 2.5" L
Balloon receiver tube 2.75" L

And a corresponding shorter total head length follows...

Chainstay profiles are also obviously much different and thus the angles of each stand.
