1946 streamliner b6 just unboxed it!!

Dogleg crank, shorty frame, pencil tip, drop center wheel set.... B80*** serial under crank tube. Has 46 style headset
Tall seat post tube. Humpback toptube. Seat post tube decal is in the center as opposed to near top and streamliner long decal can be seen on the tank but no blue guard decal....i dunno....rusty

Tapped tank brackets too...fender rivets look bulky on rear fender

I havent heard of this... Ill have to do a basic cleaning to get dirt and grime out...and then tackle the paint polishing part...should be fun

Here’s my 46 BF Goodrich Streamliner. Similar details as you described except it has tubular rims without knurls.

I got it in similar condition but all the decals were intact. Scrubbed it with mild soap and water, rubbing compound, then wax.
