1947 JC Higgins 26" Boys Tank Bike.

Wheel set and Nexus system not included.

Frame needs a small repair, does not affect riding the bike.

Frame, Fork, Truss rods, Tank sides, stem, handlebars, rear rack, crank, chain ring all original to bike.
Fenders, of course, and chain guard are not.

Where is the needed frame repair? Photo?

i can get a photo of the issue.
Brief description is... this bike sat out in a field in Kansas before I got it.
Water must of got into the top bar....froze... and created about a 1" split in the underside of the bar, about a quarter of the way up from the seat post.
I plan on having it welded up if I keep it, but didn't want to mess with the paint in case some else had a different repair option like JB Weld.

I am over 200 lbs and have ridden the bike quite frequently without issue.

I don't blame the seller, because you can't see it with the tank sides on.

Top bar split pictures, memory is not what it used to be.
Split is more towards the middle of the top bar and longer.

I am having an employee of mine looking to see if it can be welded without much color distortion.
