1947 Monark Silver King Balloon Tire Bicycle.
This Vintage 1947 Monark Silver king Bicycle. Aluminum tubing constructed using "mushroomed" tubes and chromed steel fork blades and front suspension. Aesthetically the frame is in pretty good condition and has a nice patina from over the years. Tires match and appear to be original. Both front and rear are fully functional. The bike is almost rideable but will require some small drive train tuning/lubricating to get back to fully operational. Very cool bike and with a little tlc and elbow grease would make for a great project bike. Manufactured in Chicago Illinois USA by Monark-Silverking.
