    Any one tell me if the re-issue Roadmasters had serial numbers.Thanks for any help.

    An original would have the serial, beginning w/a letter, stamped neatly on the BB. Followed by Cw, ACw, or '52-'54Cw, a repop definitely won't have that.

    The re issues roadmaster luxury liner gene had, Phillip screws to hold the head badge on it, standard pitch chainring instead of skiptooth. And came with thicker spokes and a cheap Chinese rear hub! Post a photo gene!

    the 1998's had a serial on the bottom of the BB, only 4 digits and no 'CW'

    They are not originals........... but they still ride pretty nice.
