1948 Arnold Schwinn New World Cruiser Bicycle Located in Chicago

Up for sale is my Arnold Schwinn New World cruiser bicycle. According my research this bike was produced in 9/01 1948. Serial number E21390. This bike just turned 72! I am not a Schwinn collector and don't know much about these bikes. From my research it look to be entirely original. Bike tires hold air and bike is rideable. Although could use lubrication. Has a beautiful and even patina. I am currently offering this bike as local pickup only. The bike is located in Chicago IL. It it a large frame. I will measure frame and add it in a few minutes. Price is $400 If anyone has any more info I would greatly appreciate it.

Very original! What plating is showing through the grease looks shiny. Should really clean up!
