Finally riding a big boys bike
HELP !!!! Brian's book shows my serial number MON which is 1949. The 1949 NOT 1948, yes, a 1949 MERCURY head tube badge is missing when the the bike was delivered last week. I am in the market to purchase the badge, if someone has one or an extra badge. You can see just 1 rivet at the top. The badge was missing during shipment to my house. The box was mangled, not to mention POOR packing. The badge is gone, FOREVER !! The 1949 Mercury bike advertising I notice a black background with silver MERCURY on the badge. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you !
