Wore out three sets of tires already!
1948 Schwinn (early postwar)(Ballon tire--very wide fenders)
Schwinn model B607 Deluxe Autocycle (equipped)

Original paint, front springer fork, non-knurled S-2 rims, Schwinn script front hub, and front brake. Both the front and rear brake work great when riding. Bendix rear hub (brake works but could use an internal cleaning and greasing). This is also a locking fork bike with a missing key and 9-hole rack. The paint isn't perfect but it is original and very presentable. As far as major damages go there is some break/repair work on one side of the light housing. The left crank has also snapped at one point and has been welded back. Still clears the bike frame in full pedal rotation. Some minor things missing are the front fender lens and rear reflector. Two very easy things to replace. The saddle is also a bare pan that needs to be reupholstered. Overall a very sound riding bike for anyone wanting a nice early post-war.
The tires (Duro 26 x 2.125), and tubes are not original.
