The seat obviously has no material left on it. It is single pan construction with a metal band (which has some breaks in a couple spots) that the material would be stitched to. The pan is extremely solid and a bit thicker than many similar seats I've owned. It is a Lobdell and Emory seat which I removed from a 1948 straightbar Schwinn. Original owner said it is original, and sources here say that this brand was used on some Schwinns. I will include the seatpost, which appears original although it does not have Schwinn script or stamping on it. $55 shipped
