I live for the CABE
Looks like a bike in very nice original paint. I'm not interested in the motorized bike but...this looks like it would clean up beautifully.

From the ad,
"1948 Schwinn Excelsior cruiser with integrated 2-stroke motor. Bike patina restoration. In good condition. New tires. Serial number: E45718I am not a motor guy, so I was not able to get it to run, but has compression. Motor is a Earnshaw Motor made probably in the 40’s or 50’s in Lynwood CA."

This is what was once a Whizzerized Schwinn-Built bicycle. But without the factory type brake arm attachment. You can still see the factory cutaway for the belt drive that was once on the rear wheel. You can also see how the paint on the top bar is nicer where the Whizzer gas tank was once covering it.

The Earnshaw Road Arrow motor is much, MUCH older than the bicycle it is mounted on here! Controls appear to be hybrided. Not surprising that it doesn't run.
