Finally riding a big boys bike
**price drop** FOR SALE 1949 B.F. Goodrich badged Schwinn, as found. I am the 3rd owner (second owner had it a few months and kept it in storage). I have not gone through this, but it seems to be all original. Here's what I know: Paint combo is rare and the white is possibly faded lavender (Windswept Green and Luscious Lavender). The delta torpedo light is missing the lens but seems to be original to B.F. Goodrich badged Schwinns (Schwinn badged came with Rocket Ray). The horn is working perfectly, but I haven't opened the tank to see what the inside looks like. 1" pitch chain and sprocket intact and working. New Departure hub needs to be gone through (break engages, but doesn't stop you). Troxel seat is original, the handlebar grips slide, but are original as well. Bell looks aftermarket Japanese. The tires are period correct. Rear is probably the original Goodyear, front is a Flying 'O' that matches the rear with wear and patina, so might have replaced a blowout at some point in it's early years. Bike has nicks and dings (all visible in pics) but is in pretty amazing shape regardless. This is sold AS IS as I haven't opened it up. Priced to sell at $400 shipped (domestic lower 48) coming from Atlanta, GA
