1949 Hornet Tires??????

I have a lady selling a 1949 ladies hornet over the internet, she says that it has 24 inch tires on it. I cant find any information on the tires for that year. Did they put 24 inch tires on any of them? Any information would be helpful.

The one in front is 24 inch and the two behind are 26 inch.
