Wore out three sets of tires already!
Up for your consideration is a 1949 Schwinn B6 in good old fashioned as found patina. Blue B6's are the best looking in my opinion...always loved the blue with white accents and red pins...killer! Plus, this design exudes style...can you feel it? I have made no attempt to clean this bike up and from experience, I'm nearly certain this could clean up nicely especially the frame...it's possible this bike would be a good candidate for an OA bath or just love it and leave it as is...warts and all.

Details:
  • Springer is non-locking
  • razor stem
  • tank is solid (no rust through) with ghosted decals
  • Messinger B1 Deluxe saddle with loose top (padding is intact)
  • mismatched set of S2's with repop typhoon chords
    • bendix rear hub
  • light switch is intact but missing mounting screws
  • light cover has some erosion damage on both sides (see images)
    • cracked lens
  • Front fender has light erosion from battery tray damage (see images)
  • small bit of yellow paint on top tube near head tube (see images)
  • Front fender has some bottom tip damage...nothing crazy...looks like a mudflap was attached at one point
  • Rear carrier has a little rust through behind the seat...kind of an odd place for that to occur
    • missing nut/screw for middle carrier bracket
  • seat tube and chain guard decals are very strong
    • patent decal on seat tube at bottom bracket is present
  • pedals are Torrington 8's (not correct but matching patina...probably been with the bike for a long time)

Overall, the bike presents well and all of the money pieces are present. With some effort, this B6 could shine again. Lots of pics for full disclosure...there will be no surprises as I don't hide anything.

$950 Shipped in CONUS. PP friends and family.
