Wore out three sets of tires already!
This is a late 40’s to early 50’s finless balsa board that is standing at a stout 9’10. On the base of the board are original surfboard permits for New Port Beach of 1967-1968. The stickers were most likely added later for presentation or display. Some minor restoration/repair work had been done some time in the past. Such an awesome board with lots of Cali history! Not exactly 100% sure shaped it but was told it was done most likely by Jacobs. Perfect piece to hang on your wall in your man cave, living room or done up garage.
Possibly open to trades but lookin for cash.

D-u-d-e, cowabunga !

Surfs up !

Good thing Newport Beach 'permits' surfing 😉

Btw, whats the 'penalty' for having a basement full of boards without the permits ? = 'Tread water' for 24 hours ? 😉

Cool board and wouldn't be surprised if those NP beach permits are original to the board, old boards were kept around at beach houses for family & friends to use ( mostly to paddle around on ) so had to get the permit even in back bay/harbor or get a ticket/confiscation!, oh ya, maybe Spicoli's grampa's board!
