Finally riding a big boys bike
I'm going to part with my 1950 Schwinn Green Phantom.I was seriously going to keep this one,being it was in my Opinion the best in my Phantom Squadron.I got the bike a few years ago and it was untouched untestored.I put a NOS New Departure 2 speed shifter and rear hub on this.Of course when I got it ,me being me, I took it all apart down the the nuts and bolts and carefully recleaned and greased all working parts.I carefully and gently cleaned and polished the paint.I took off and kept the parts I had replaced for rechromed original parts,like the fenders, bottom bracket,kickstand, handlebars, razor stem and s2 rims.All these parts will be included in sale.What you see in pics you will get.You can put this back to original if you so desired or sell the OG PARTS.The original seat is the only part I dont have anymore,It went missing when I moved. The seat in picture is a either a awesome restored original Schwinn approved Phantom seat or a 1995 Repro..I cant tell.Either way it's awesome and comfortable. This bike rides killer and turns heads.It has a NOS cadet speedometer odometer.Also I had a Joe Buffardi SHURSPIN propeller Custom designed for this bike.The S2 RIMS I had bought rechromed, they are real nice that came respoked and had the front drum brake that is in great shape.The fenders are nice 1995 Reproduction with deluxe rear reflector. Also has the Rollrite Phantoma skull green front fender lens.New horn tank battery tray.Rear and front light work fine.The tank is in great condition too.USA made Typhoon Cord Tires with great tread. I hate to sell this,but I have another bike comin in its place.Serious SACRIFICE is being made here. Local pickup preferred at $3500.00 OBO.
