From where the batteries leaked that were in the tank...

Harpo, i have witnessed you make amazing transformations on these machines with a rag and some cleaning solution. I know this one may prove to be a little more difficult, but I for one, am incredibly excited to see what this machine looks like after you’re finished with it. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.

Well, lot more than rag and some cleaning solution, lol! But... Thanks for compliment! And check out my New Post. I just bought a Shelby Flying Cloud a little while ago!! 😃

I wasn't looking for another bike, considering I just sold the '75 Raleigh Sprite and the '71 Raleigh Sports to one guy yesterday. I now had more room! And I wanted to start on the '78 Raleigh Tourist I got last week. And then this comes along... 🤣

About an hour from my house, it was well worth the ride. I had no idea it even had a locking fork until I got there (with the original key stuck in it), so was a nice bonus. The guy who was selling it said he looked up the serial number , and it came back as November 1952. I'll look later, but it's the same year my wife and I were born, so another Bonus. UPDATE...it's a 1950 thanks to @GTs58 looking it up. Just changed the Title. Thanks!! 🙂

I haven't even taken the time to look in the light (which still has the lens) or inside the tank. All in due time. It's home with me, and now another Project to start.

Enjoy the usual barrage of photos! 😁

Wow, and you even got a TITLE with this bike? Didn't know bikes came with them. Nice score Harpo.
