Wore out three sets of tires already!
Looking to sell this Schwinn Black Phantom. Was told this bike was restored 15+ years ago. Truthfully looks nice but does have a mix of rechromed original and repop parts that were bought yrs ago from Memory Lane. Things noticeably wrong--> headbadge was not installed with screws, didn't have them therefore he placed on crooked. Paint pinstriping not too clean; wrong seat but is stamped "Schwinn"on top; repop Typhoon cords are yellowed, Rear S2 has a 4 digit # engraved on the knurl, and needs truing. Lastly, was told bike was a 1952, but because of paint job can't read serial # on bottom bracket, can only make out 4 digits. Anyhow still a nice bike. Please see pics for details. Sell for $1250 + shipping CONUS only. Won't ship outside of U. S. Please PM if interested.

Looking to sell or trade this recently acquired Schwinn Black Phantom. If trade is option would like to trade for a Krate. Was told this bike was restored (amateurly) 15+ years ago. Truthfully not done too well but does have a mix of rechromed original and repop parts that were bought yrs ago from Memory Lane. Things noticeably wrong--> headbadge was not installed with screws, didn't have them therefore he placed on crooked. Paint scheme on on down tube seems off; pinstriping not too clean; wrong seat but is stamped "Schwinn"on top; repop Typhoon cords are yellowed, Rear S2 has a 4 digit # engraved on the knurl, and needs truing. Lastly, was told bike was a 1952, but because of paint job can't read serial # on bottom bracket, can only make out 4 digits. Anyhow still a nice bike but it is what it is. Please see pics for details. Sell for $1250 + shipping CONUS only or trade for a Schwinn Krate. Please PM if interested.

We have a old family saying," You could never tell on a trotting horse or up-side-down spitting nickels". I like it.

I dont think you can get a Phantom at a better price than this one! The correct seats are out there and attainable...
