Sunday rains, brought me to watch the 50's show the "Highway Patrol" S01E35 "Runaway boy".

Man in Ford pick up runs over the kid's Schwinn traveler and crushes front wheel. The driver offers to take run away and his bike into town to get repaired.

The man stops to use the pay phone. Tells junior to stay in the truck ( of course he doesn't). The bike in the back of the truck still appears to be the Traveler.

The man is on the phone with the Highway Patrol, turns a little , Then PUFF!, the kid is gone and the bike has changed into a double curve bar something.
*I would not have notice it if I hadn't paused it to let the dog out.
