Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
1951 Straightbar Autocycle in incredible condition. Purchased from a well known So Cal Whizzer restorer
who ended up with this bike in a large Whizzer collection from Fla. some years back. I have done nothing with the bike to alter/change anything. Appears to be an incredible original with only some minor
touch up on the pinstripes on the front frame tubing and a small area under the deluxe rear reflector.

Schwinn stopped showcasing this model in their catalogs around the time Phantom,
Panthers etc were introduced and even though all are quite rare, most were early post war models.
This is a very late production BA-107 with an H serial number dating it to 1951.
Thought to be extinct by the late 40's, well here is living proof that they offered this much later.
Super clean original and like most BA107 post war bikes, has the Prewar straight bar tank, which is so
nice it looks NOS. Perfect S-2 wheels no dings and nice chrome, Yale Schwinn Key on board, Minty
Schwinn 3" glass reflector, AS stem, very nice original Made in USA Typhoon tires. Excellent original
Persons Supreme pedals, just an outstanding original bike. The only issue to note appears to be
2 holes that were patched on top of the Fender light, and some considerable wear to the Mesinger
leather saddle. I would offer a "Recover" to the buyer at No/Charge to prolong the live of the seat
which is not quite rider quality.
These bikes rarely show up period in any condition let along an 8+ or better survivor like this. An
unreal and rare postwar Schwinn maybe one of the nicest orignals out there.
