Finally riding a big boys bike
Sorry, no shipping. I started a different thread yesterday under Middleweight Bikes asking an opinion of value on this bike that you may want to read as there are comments regarding the bike, condition, price. Not a barn find as in my populated area there are not to many barns, more of a shed find while hunting for Stingray bikes and parts. Was next to the Red Twin Straightbar I am also selling on here.

Not a barn find as in my populated area there are not to many barns, more of a shed find while hunting for Stingray bikes and parts. This bike was next to a twin straight bar I just listed.
Serial # starts with a B5, and I was told the serial number you can see in the phot puts it at a 1952 or 1953. Women's Panther. Has the locking front fork. Key says Schwinn on it and it does lock and unlock forks. Looks like no horn and newer parts inside tank, button seems to work. Light I put batteries in, did not work, looks like it should, switch seems OK. Paint looks all original. Looks like the original seat which is in good shape. Front hub says Schwinn Approved on it, rear has a new departure brake arm. Wheels. are stamped S2's, but are so nice, almost like new so perhaps not original to the bike, but spokes are worn, and also has some real nice made in USA Carlisle Lightning Dart tires on it. Fenders have some dings, bad chrome. Bike rides well.

LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Look at photos. I am sorry but I do not ship bikes for many personal reasons, just my choice to do it this way. I know and do not need to be told this really limits the market of who I sell to, but I would rather miss a sale than ship bikes anymore. Price is $550, I am located in San Jose, California. May trade up or down for Stingray bikes or parts.
