1952 Schwinn DX Frame

First Schwinn Cruiser build.
I am having trouble finding what this bike would have looked like or have been called in 1952. Someone suggested a Spitfire. I don't see a catalog that shows this bike with a tank. But...when I Google search for the 1952 Dx Schwinn images.... tank bikes come up. I also find BF Goodrich Challenger images. I do have the BFG badge I could use...and go the challenger route.
I'm looking for option for the correct restoration of this frame.
There are also post-war reproduction horn tanks on ebay. Would they have had a horn tank?

The Spitfire was available in a couple versions. The Deluxe equipped and the standard bare bones. Here's a Deluxe.

This could have been a spitfire since the kickstand tube is gone.
