1956 Schwinn for sale locally - any clue to model?

Hello fellow Cabers,
I have been eye-ballin' this ad for sale locally. Listed as 1956 Cantilever frame bike. It has S2 wheels. For some reason, I like it!
My questions are: Do Yall think this frame originally come with a BF Goodrich badge? I think the one installed is a repop.
What model could this be? What would Yall pay?
The person is asking too much in my opinion, ($500) but I'm watching to see if they lower the asking price.
Serial # confirms 1956 according to serial # data base.

looks like a cool bike to me. I might pay $250.00 for it if I needed another bike, as for the badge, the green paint matches the fork, so I'd bet it was original.. at least to the bike the fork came from.

well, that's true, how about this ..... ""If I needed another post war bike"". if I get another I want something pre war.

Looks like a 1956 balloon frame that was originally painted Spitfire Blue so badge and fork are not original to the frame. Not many Balloon models that year, take your pick but I'm going with a Spitfire. Phantom, Streamliner, Wasp, Deluxe Hornet and Spitfire.

Frame was blue, fork is green, seat is Brooks, coaster brake?????. IF The wheels are original, rule out any models that came with chrome rims. Frankenschwinn? Still a cool bike.

Don't ya think, if original, it would have two holes for screws? Looks like a repop badge to me. Not that it matters but, just saying.
