Wore out three sets of tires already!
OK. If you like to get these just as they are found in the wild and you are not afraid of getting sore fingers working a bike back to life, then this 56 Tiger is for you. I tried NOT to do anything to her. I was going to take the pics with a busted shifter cable and 2 flat, shredded tires, etc, etc...
I just could not.
So I put on rim strips, tubes and tires with a new shifter cable. I loosened up the old style trigger shifter and ran through the gears. I put on new bars, adjusted the brakes. I cleaned up test patches on the 2 rims and the front fender so I could see how much would be salvageable.
I rode her enough to be able to say this will be a nice long distance rider.
Oops. I notice that I forgot to put on the brake spring clips. They will be included.
