1957 Schwinn Deluxe Hornet ( Reduced) Built from the ground up to be a great ride with excellent looks. Black and almond with fresh paint with 2k clear coat, and 6 speed freewheel conversion added for better riding. Ready to ride, show and go. Has Rigida American alloy wheels, new double kickstand, new leather seat and tube, new sprocket, new pedals, new brakes, new Black Opps handle bars, grips and goose neck with carrying bag, new tires smooth tires, new fenders, new shifter, new repro chrome tank, new horn, new chain, new derailleur, new rechargeable led brake tail light, LED headlight. I'm the Wiz, and nobody beats me!
The 54 and earlier Hornets were just Hornets and would be classified as a deluxe model and they had the built in. Starting 1955 they had the two versions of the Hornet and they had the detachable. In 1957 both were middleweights.
