In 1968 a friend of mine bought a brand new Ducati. He asked if I wanted to ride it and of course I did. Unfortunately I had only ridden Hondas before and wasn't thinking about the Ducati having the shift on the right and brake on the left. I got going and when I went to shift I hit the brake and went right over the handlebars. Luckily nothing hurt but my pride.
