Cruisin' on my Bluebird
I drug this home from Memory Lane Classics show in NW Ohio about 18 years ago. When I purchased then it was in white spray paint with some poorly applied punk rock band, and skater boys names written on in Sharpie and colored magic marker. Nothing worth preserving I assure you. The previous owner cut the fin off to hang on a wall.
It is a 9'-6", 1960s Long Surfboard with inlaid wood stringer nose to tail. I had Greg Brown paint it up with Racing Stripes and flames like the Rods and Ratfinks album cover. Still no fin. The board and body work is not perfect but is good enough for a Tiki bar or to display as a wall hanger $275. Pick up in Central Western, NJ
