Finally riding a big boys bike
The knobby is dated 3/64 and is a Carlisle. I bought it from an old man who said he pulled it from a mid 60s Stingray he originally purchased (he didn’t remember the exact year). The tire is in awesome shape with one very small/minor crack above the X in 20 X 2.125. The tire is soft, pliable and ready to use. Asking 225 plus shipping OBO.
The second tire is the 1970 raised white letter and line Schwinn Stingray Slik. This is not a reproduction, is an original Goodyear manufactured tire and would be great for your original Krate! This tire does have cracking and signs of wear. It holds air and is usable to an extent. I wouldn’t use it on a daily rider and can’t guarantee anything about it. Best for a bike you ride once in awhile and display. I tried to take a good amount of pictures to show this. The white line is worn off in a lot of places. Asking 100 OBO is shipping.
