Just curious what’s a realistic price for this bike?
There is another '65 SD on eBay, Restored
Hope to see the end game price on this nice original example though, if it had a next level preservation with detailed description and photos, who knows the limit? ... eBay vs. Auto Auction? ... Best of the early Sting-ray's ... Krate's became Top of the Line! ... Their only original once!

prices are all supply vs. demand, the supply of comparables is nil. There is a lot of demand but those who "need" this may not have enough money to pick it up. In my opinion, this is scarcer than any "Krate" bike, and being half a decade earlier, because of the time factor, fewer remain out there, and being a Super Deluxe AND Violet, well....
I imagine it will go someplace like Japan or Dubai, and be installed in a glass display case so people's drool can be wiped off.

Hey guys this is my listing. Hoping to find it a good home. I really wanted to hold on to this one but I am trying to come up with some extra cash to buy my Dads 1971 FLH. Sadly he passed away last October and I really want to keep the bike in the family. Sadly that means something else has to go so gotta let the SD go. I sincerely appreciate the help I’ve received on here and big thanks to Chris who helped me quite a bit along the way

Mr. 1937Zenith,
I’m very sorry for your loss, my condolences.

Your Dads 1971 FLH Harley Davidson is Killer !
Yes, you definitely need to keep that for obvious reasons.

It’s a shame you can’t keep the ‘65 S/D Stingray too.
I’d be very interested in your Violet ‘65 Survivor if I didn’t already have a couple.

Take care, Chris.

Sincerely appreciate it. I’ve listed some of my other stuff too. Depending on what sells first, I may end up keeping it! Just sold a phantom and a couple mountain bikes. If I sell a few more things the SD will go back into the collection.

I also offer my condolences for your loss. Yes, hopefully you can keep that beautiful HD.

Just picked this up and looks to be 100% original to me. I have owned many stingrays but this is my first super deluxe. Been trying to find out more about these bikes such as what colors they were available in and also why some look like they have more of a regular frame and others look more like the stingray junior frame?!?! Any info would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

Nice find, looks like guard was rescreened because does not match the rest of the bike but super find. I think the red super deluxe are the hardest to find including harder than the original black Stingrays. Reds were made only the at the end of '64. They continued making SD but not in red.
