1966 Schwinn Middleweight Colors

Does anybody know what colors Schwinn offered in 1966 for Schwinn Panthers.

That’s What I thought, I saw one one that appeared more brown which I figured was a little oxidation. And the S seat appeared a little more brown as well, has me scratching my head.

I've seen Coppertone seats that were exposed to the sun for while turn brownish and the paint may have rust underneath the color coat which is very common on a bike left outside. On a solid color you cannot see the rust underneath the paint like you can with the Opal and Radiant paints.

Exactly…. wonder if it will come out?

It’s already out. That’s why it looks like that. UV rays love to eat paint. You’re just lucky it wasn’t originally red.
