We have a decent-sized collection of Murray, Western Flyer, J.C Higgins/Sears, Huffy, AMF and Schwinn middleweights that we began assembling in the 1950s. This is in addition to our collection of vintage balloon tire bicycles.

We have to see photos of what you are describing. Descriptions alone aren't enough.

Yes, of course there were different versions of the "bugeye" tanks. Yes, of course. The girl's tanks were shorter. You can also tell because girl's tank headlight brackets were bent more. There were also some versions of the headlights that had different lenses. Hope this helps.

Are you trying to build one? Or restore one? Or just want a nice original?
