Selling this recently tuned-up rootbeer Suburban. It’s in excellent shape, just a little too tall for me to ride confidently. This bike would be perfect for someone 5’11” or taller.

The sweetener with this deal is the accessories - the bike comes with an original Schwinn bag, lock, brochure, and light.

I’d like to sell this in Southern California.
 
Very clean and original! That appears to be a 1974 model built in the first two weeks of April, which is when Schwinn indicated in a dealer bulletin that due to a shortage of tubular forks "...beginning April 1 we will substitute forged forks on Suburban models for a period of about two weeks." These were unique also in that the front fender braces were different to attach to the fork without eyelets and they also had a chrome fork crown where the standard tubular forks did not. 1974 was also the only year the thumb shifter was used on 5-speed models:
