I live for the CABE
1970s Slingerland Drum Outfit in Blue Agate wrap. Asking $1250. This set is in pristine condition. All wrap is tight and unmarked. Chrome shines like new. These are all Niles, Illinois, badged drums. In a smoke-free, pet-free, child-free home. No rust, no pitting, they seriously look like new.
Asking price is for five drums, stands, and cymbals as listed below and shown in the photos. THERE IS NO BASS PEDAL OR THRONE. THE BASS PEDAL SHOWN IS SOLD. All drums have good heads but the head brands are mixed – some Slingerland, some Aquarian, some Attack.

Bass drum (no pedal) – 20x15
Floor tom-tom w/legs – 16x16
Two rack tom-toms – 13x9 – on hybrid Slingerland Set-O-Matic/Gibraltar stand
Chrome over steel snare – 14x6 – with stand
Slingerland hi-hat stand w/14” Zyldjian titanium cymbals
Zyldjian 20” brass cymbal with stand
If you don’t want the cymbals or the snare, we can negotiate a smaller set price. I won’t sell any of the bass or toms separately, though. Cymbals are excellent with no cracks or keyholes. This set would make a great “forever set” for that drummer on your Christmas list. It’s high quality and in fantastic condition.
I would consider partial trade for the following items in good working condition: Shelbyville-built Slingerland drums, vintage saxophones, vintage motorcycles, antique Indiana-built or Tennessee-built bicycles, newer Nikon DSLR camera. I don’t need any other drums; I’m trying to clear some space in my office.
I'd prefer not to ship if I can avoid it. I could meet within a reasonable distance or hold until you can come after them. They are set up in my office so clean, warm and dry. Thanks for looking. Contact me via PM with any questions.
