1970s TREK Bicycle

A friend of mine just got done cleaning up and refurbishing this old Trek for me. Serial number L3R9D70. I believe it puts it somewhere around 1978 or 1979. It has the sticker decals and the screw on headbadge. It’s a really lightweight bike. I need to get some bar tape for it yet. I might also try and find a nice wheel set that takes clincher tires vs sew ups. From what I could find it might be a 700 series frame that probably came as frame set only. Has some interesting components on it. Modolo brakes and levers, avocet crank and seat post, Suntour gearing and also had a nice Suntour Superbe stem with cut out that I replaced with a shorter Nitto stem. Can anybody here on The Cabe help me narrow down the year and model?

@ccdc.1 Thanks for the link and other info. If it’s a Trek 930 that’s really cool. It’s a really light bike.
