72 Slik Chik
Look Ma, No Hands!
I'm moving out of the country, so begrudgingly letting go of my favorite bikes.
1971 Schwinn Fair Lady - very good condition
$200 - pickup only (Houston, TX)
- Fully restored in the '90s. Since then was stored in a garage, so surface rust came back
- Original seat, fenders, chain guard, grips and brake handle covers, reflector, etc
- After-market NOS Shimano 3-speed Stick Shift added; has original Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub
- Vintage NOS accessories: basket, chain lock (I don't remember the combination), racing flag valve stem caps
- Paint is generally good condition. There are a few scuffs and a little rust, but doesn't show much on the violet
It would be tragic to part this bike out. She's a sweet ride. I hope she can go to someone who loves girl bikes as much as I do.
