Look Ma, No Hands!
I probably paid too much for it, and it's probably gonna be a lot of work, but I'm really excited about this project. I just bought a 1971 Schwinn Sports Tourer frame (orange) - in a size that's a good fit for me - and I'm going to move the wheels and components over from my town-bike-conversion 1973 Continental (blue). First, of course, I'm going to do my best to restore Sports Tourer frame with new paint and decals.

Keep in mind if you want to make it a 10 speed again the front derailleur on a ST is a bigger diameter where it clamps on the seat tube than any other electro forged bike.

the Sports Tourer and Superior frames of this era are not electroforged construction, they are fillet brazed

Huret contract manufactured front mechs for them with oversize mounting clamps
